We, the makers of dubclub.live strongly believe that advertisement by integration into affiliate networks is not in the interest of our users and is degrading the product experience, therefore we do not include any such mechanisms in our product.
Furthermore, we abstain from including or showing third-party advertisement.
We respect your data sovereignty and apply high data privacy standards, care and responsibility.
We try to be as concise and clear as possible about the acquisition, processing, storing and the purpose of your personal data.

Scope of this Privacy Statement.
This privacy statement explains the dubclub-audiobooks LLC (“dubclub-audiobooks,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) information data processing practices, of the Website at dubclub.live (the “Site”) and the service owned and operated by Company, including any mobile software applications offered or published by Company (collectively with the Site, the “Service”).
The Service enables users (the “User”) to purchase audiobooks containing Content from Artist through the Site, including digital Content made available via download (and, subject to the purchase of a download, streaming) through the Service and to preview such Content by way of streaming (“Digital Content”).
Each such purchase is a “Transaction”, each Transaction involving Digital Content is a “Digital Transaction”.
Transactions under this Agreement are facilitated by Company in the name of Service and our third-party payment processors.

Data collection.
Your personal data (collectively “personalized data”, “personally identifiable information”, “PII”) may be obtained in following ways: (i) provided to us by yourself in order to provide you with our Service, and (ii) collected from you directly whilst you use our Service.
Collection and use of personal data is limited to the necessary amount with respect to its purpose ("principle of data economy"), including but not limited to the regular and lawful operation of Service provided to you.
Regulation (herein after "the Regulation") applies to the processing of personal data carried out in the process of providing the Service.
The Service provided by Company use following personal and non-personal data:
- Login and authentication information of the user as given by the chosen authentication provider or given as account information during signup, in specific:
- User name
- User e-mail
- Avatar image (optional)
- Anonymized user-id
- User's search data entered by the user when searching for books, authors, etc.
- User e-mail address if entered into the newsletter subscription form field
- In case of crashes, we may collect the following information:
- Time and date of the occurrence
- User's browser user-agent string
- Stacktrace, which might contain User's anonymized user id
- User's WAN Internet Protocol (IP) address
Information related to payment processing. Payments are processed by Payment Service Providers, which might set cookies to recognize Users and provide User's payment preferences. The Service and Company have no access to data the User enters at the Payment Service Provider, however Service may obtain following data from the PSP to allow Transactions:
- Purchase id
- Purchased article ids
- Timestamp of the purchase
- Purchased article ids
- Anonymized user-id for verification
- User's e-Mail address in case of payout to voice-actors via Paypal
Please note that we do not sell your personal information according to the CCPA.
Data Sovereignty.
You may request an extract of your personal data within our system by sending an e-mail to info@dubclub.live, or contact Company in written form.
You may request that Company deletes all your personal data, removing your account including associated personal and personalized data, by sending an e-mail to info@dubclub.live, or contact Company in written form.
Legal basis for personal data acquisition and processing.
Company uses personal data in order to provide Service.
The legal basis is legitimate interests, as there is a legitimate interest in ensuring the successful delivery of Service to User in the form of regular and lawful operation of our Service.
This specifically includes the aforementioned optimization and statistical analysis data: In case of severe issues (including but not limited to crashes, error reports, security vulnerabilities) threatening the regular and lawful operation of Service, Company may collect the context of the circumstances of the error state.
Furthermore, this includes Cookies: When using our Service, User's browser needs to store the authentication session to authenticate User.
We do not employ third-party or tracking cookies.
Additionally, Service may leverage cookies to store the contents of User's shopping-cart when not authenticated.
If technical feasible, Service only processes anonymized or pseudonymized data sets to reduce the risk of sensitive data exposure. Generally, personally identifiable information is removed from any data sets before it is used for statistical and scientific analysis.
Data retention periods.
We do exceed the limits imposed by law related to storing User's personal data, with respect to the above stated use. Generally, we limit storing most of your personal data for a period of three months. After this, personal data is (except if required by law or continued legitimate interest) either irrevocably anonymised or deleted. Beyond this, we only store your personal information pursuant to any applicable legal requirements.
Disclosure of personal information.
Apart from sharing personal information with you, Company only shares personal information as follows:
- Within Company in compliance with effective law and in accordance and within the regulations of the aforementioned reasons of providing the Service
- Legal Requirements and Business Transfers: Company may disclose personal information
(i) if we are required to do so by law, including but not limited to legal process, statute, rule, regulation, or professional standard, or to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other legal request,
(ii) in response to law enforcement authority or other government official requests,
(iii) when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or financial loss, or
(iv) in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual illegal activity. Limited disclosure may also happen for Company audits or to investigate a complaint or security threat.
